Dr. Mike Bradley is a widely published specialist in radiology in the field of musculoskeletal radiology, including several book chapters and two books ( atlas of musculoskeletal ultrasound). He conducts all types of musculoskeletal radiology encompassing MRI, CT, Ultrasound, Radio-isotopes, and intervention including a comprehensive range of joint and soft tissue injections. He performs imaging around all varieties of sports injuries in both amateur and elite athletes. He lectures at the university of west of England as well as many national and international meetings.He is the lead radiologist for the regional soft tissue sarcoma service in Bristol, performing all types of imaging and biopsies as well as therapeutic interventional procedures largely based around radio-frequency ablation. He has pioneered ultrasound guided foreign body extractions.
Dr. Bradley qualified in Liverpool and trained in radiology, also in Merseyside. He then worked in Hong Kong as a lecturer in the Chinese University prior to his first consultant post as a radiologist in Rotherham. He then moved to Bristol in 1999 to take up this specialist post in musculoskeletal radiology. He is a keen sportsman, often seen in a kayak in the coastal waters or white water rivers. He has a keen interest in triatholons, cycling and golf and enjoys watching team sports and athletics.
