Orthopaedic Surgery

At Spire Bristol Hospital we perform in excess of 2500 orthopaedic procedures a year, including treatments for disorders of the hip, knee, foot, ankle, shoulder, elbow, hand, wrist and spine. The treatments range from arthroscopy to spinal surgery and hip and knee replacement and revision surgery.

Imaging and diagnostics

Specialists at Spire Bristol Hospital utilise x-ray and imaging when required including ultrasound, magnetic resonance imaging (MRI) and computed tomography (CT).

Where sports injuries have occurred specialists analyse the cause of the injury (for example sporting technique, basic fitness, gait and equipment).

After surgery

Following surgery, our highly skilled team of physiotherapists support the work of the orthopaedic surgeon to aid a fast and effective recovery.
