I have been working as Consultant Orthopaedic Surgeon for nine years and specialise in hip and knee replacement surgery. I am one of the leading revision hip and knee surgeons in Kent and have extensive experience in revision hip and knee surgery including the failed metal on metal hip replacements. I have extensive experience in minimally invasive hip replacement and the appointed lead for enhanced recovery of hips. In addition I routinely perform partial and total knee replacement surgeries, knee arthroscopy and hip arthroscopy.

I have performed more than 1,000 primary hip and knee replacement operations and more than 250 revision hip and knee replacements. I have also performed more than 1,000 knee arthroscopies.

I have completed postgraduate orthopaedic training from St Thomas’ and Guy’s Hospital rotation London in 2005, subsequently underwent further sub-specialty fellowship training in Melbourne, Australia involving minimally invasive hip replacement, revision surgery and computer assisted hip and knee replacement surgery. I was appointed as Consultant Orthopaedic Surgeon with special interest in hip and knee surgery at Medway NHS Foundation Trust in September 2006.
