Our services are available to everyone – whether or not you are insured with BUPA, AXA PPP, Aviva or another private health insurance company. If you are paying for your own treatment, we offer one-off private treatment at Spire Alexandra Hospital, with a fixed price agreed in advance. We also offer a selection of procedures to NHS patients on behalf of the NHS.
Spire Alexandra Hospital offers exceptional facilities including 36 private rooms all of which have en-suite facilities, TV and telephone. There are two extensively equipped operating theatres, backed up by a high dependency unit, all of which are staffed 24 hours a day to provide dedicated patient care in a clean and comfortable environment.
In addition, Spire Alexandra Hospital offers a wide range of medical and surgical services with very high standards of clinical care.
Orthopaedic surgery is one of our key specialities, where our team of experienced specialist consultants are able to deal with a wide range of lower and upper limb, spinal and hand conditions and procedures, such as hip replacement and knee replacement.
Another key speciality is cosmetic surgery, where our surgeons are able to perform a wide range of treatments including breast enlargement or augmentation, breast reduction, nose reshaping, eyelid surgery, facelift, abdominoplasty (tummy tuck) and liposuction. We also offer patients the Orbera™ weight loss balloon, a non-surgical weight loss procedure.
We also have a dedicated state-of-the-art diagnostic imaging suite providing access to X-ray, ultrasound, mammography, MRI scans, CT scans and bone mineral density scanning, along with our pregnancy scanning service. The hospital also offers a dedicated fertility clinic which, acting as a satellite for the London Fertility Clinic, offers patients the option of IVF and ICSI treatments.
Other facilities include a BUPA Wellness Centre offering a range of private health assessments, a sports injury clinic offering expertise in sports medicine, and accreditation by BUPA insurance for all our cancer services, surgery and treatment.
