Mr Ahmed graduated from Charing Cross and Westminster Medical School. He received the bulk of his postgraduate training at the John Radcliffe Hospital in Oxford and at Guy's and St Thomas's Hospitals in London.

He has special expertise in managing disorders of the menopause and is a qualified colposcopist.
