I trained at St George's Hospital Medical School in London qualifying in 1990. My specialist training in obstetrics and gynaecology was based at St Thomas' and Guys Hospital, London.

I also spent a lot of time working in this region, initially at All Saints Hospital, Chatham, but also at Maidstone Hospital, Pembury Hospital and Medway Maritime Hospital.

When I achieved my CCST in 2001 I took up a full-time substantive consultant post at Medway Maritime Hospital where I have been working for the last 7 years. My primary interest is maternal medicine.

Within my gynaecological practice I have outpatients clinics including a minor procedures clinic offering out-patient hysteroscopy, endometrial biopsy, polypectomy, IUS insertion and cervical cauterisation.

I also offer day case and in-patient surgery covering the main gynaecological procedures including laparoscopic surgery. My main interests include menstrual disorders, post-menopausal problems, pelvic pain, polycystic ovaries, vaginal prolapse and adolescent gynaecology.

I am a busy mother with 3 young children. We all enjoy life out of doors especially hill-walking and cycling. I have recently taken up running and hope to enter my first half marathon this year.
