Dr Husain trained in the Oxford region and the South West rotation CCST 2005.Out of programme experience in Royal Brompton Hospital London with interest in interventional bronchoscopy in 2003 to 2004.Fellowship in Lille, France for interventional bronchoscopy and medical thoracoscopy 2005.Dr Husain was the locum chest consultant at the Royal London and The London Chest Hospital from 2005 to 2006 and has been the consultant general and respiratory physician in Maidstone Hospital since 2006.Fellowship Royal College of Physicians 2008 and Fellowship American College of Chest Physicians 2008.Dr Husain has experience in research, papers and publications on COPD, endobronchial stents, ventilator associated pneumonia's.Dr Husain has specialist experience in sleep medicine, NIV, ILD, Asbestosis, pleura effusion and medical thoracoscopy.Interventional bronchoscopy-cryotherapy/TBNA lymph node biopsy.
Dr Husain likes to keep fit going to the gym, swimming, playing squash and cricket
