Dr Aga did his specialist training in the UK in medicine and gastroenterology. He has been a consulant gastroenterologist and endoscopist since 1993, holding posts in Muscat, Delhi, Derriford Hospital, Plymouth, The John Radcliffe Oxford and Western General Hospital, Edinburgh.

Dr Aga deals with the entire range of gastrointestinal illnesses, hepatobiliary conditions and pancreatic disease. His special interests are the management of lumenal conditions including inflammatory bowel disease, acid peptic syndromes, gastroesophageal reflux, irritable bowel syndrome and celiac disease. He performs all gastrointestinal endoscopic procedures and is particularly interested in colonoscopy and therapeutic endoscopy.

Symptoms for which patients are commonly referred to him are indigestion, anaemia, abdominal pain, diarrhoea, rectal bleeding and jaundice.

In addition to clinical consultations Dr Aga is also available for medico-legal opinions relating to the field of gastroenterology.
