At Spire Alexandra Hospital we performed over 1,200 orthopaedic operations last year. Our lower limb surgeons performed over 200 knee and hip replacements as well as foot and ankle surgery. Patients can also see specialist hand surgeons and upper limb surgeons that treat a variety of elbow and shoulder conditions.
Our spinal surgeons offer a comprehensive service with treatments including pain management, minimally invasive surgery and major spinal fusion.
Physiotherapy Support
To support our extensive orthopaedic service Spire Alexandra Hospital has its own physiotherapy team, who work closely with the surgical team to undertake assessments, treatments and therapies using modern technologies. The team offer fast and effective rehabilitation to aid recovery from surgery, injury and other medical conditions.
Radiology
In addition. Spire Alexandra Hospital has an Imaging Department that offers x-ray, ultrasound, CT and MRI scans to assist our surgeons with diagnosis.
