Nuchal Scanning Service starting at Spire Yale Hospital in May

Spire Yale Hospital in Wrexham is pleased to offer a Nuchal Scanning service starting Thursday May 20th. Nuchal scanning is an ultrasound scan to help determine the likelihood of Down's Syndrome and other chromosomal abnormalities in unborn babies.

This is a consultant led service by Mr Bidyut Kumar, Consultant Obstetrician and Gynaecologist. Mr Kumar holds regular clinics and a scan be arranged at short notice. For further information regarding the service please ring the Radiology dept on 01978 268 040.

Please note you can self refer – i.e. you do not need a referral from your midwife or GP.
