    Professional profile:
    My practice encompasses all adult urology and a large percentage is related to urological cancer. I perform both endoscopic surgery and open urological procedures. In addition to this I run specialist urodynamic and erectile dysfunction clinics.
    Personal profile:
    I was appointed as consultant urologist to Wirral Hospitals NHS Trust in 1997 and work at Arrowe Park and Clatterbridge Hospitals. My undergraduate training was at the Middlesex Hospital medical school and I qualified in 1978. I subsequently trained as a surgeon in the Army, being accredited as a consultant general surgeon in 1991 and as a consultant urologist in 1994. I then worked as the consultant urologist to the Army until leaving the services in 1997 to take up my current post.
