John Casaletto qualified as a medical doctor in 1997. After completing his basic surgical training, he successfully trained on the Mersey Orthopaedics and Trauma training programme.
He underwent specialist training in shoulder, elbow and hand surgery at the Liverpool Upper Limb Unit and Wrightington Hospital. He also trained in reconstructive and plastic hand surgery at the Mersey Regional Plastic Surgery Unit and Alder Hey Children's Hospital. He is a Consultant Hand and Upper Limb Surgeon at the Wirral University Teaching Hospital, NHS Foundation Trust.
