Professional profile:
I have been a consultant in the NHS and private practice since 1980. I routinely treat patients with dentoalveolar, salivary gland, temporomandibular joint and other oral medicine pathology, as well as undertaking surgery for oral malignancy, repair of facial fractures, correcting facial deformity and insertion of dental implants. Clinical referrals are taken from general medical and dental practitioners, as well as consultant colleagues in other specialties. I have weekly clinics and operating lists. I have written in excess of 80 articles and continue to be published in peer reviewed journals, in addition to being the sole author of a text book on facial fractures. I routinely prepare reports for medico-legal cases of personal injury and alleged medical/dental negligence both as a single joint expert or via individual commissions from solicitors and am a member of the Expert Witness Institute. I also undertake forensic work for the Wirral Coroner.
Personal profile:
I am married with two daughters. We have travelled extensively worldwide on business and pleasure. I enjoy clay pigeon shooting, tennis and walking.
