Professional profile:
| qualified from the Royal London Hospital in 1995 and did my basic surgical training in London and the south-east. I was appointed to higher surgical training in the Mersey region in 2000.

My fellowship year was spent in Sheffield as an arthroplasty fellow, performing complex hip and knee primary and revision surgery.

I am regularly involved in regional hip and knee teaching on the training programme locally. I am happy to see any problem related to the hip or knee (except for knee ligament reconstructions), including those who have had unsuccessful previous surgery.
Personal profile:
I am married to a GP and have two young children. I am a keen golfer (handicap 11) and ski every year. I am a retired rugby player and remain a follower of rugby, as well as other sports.
