Background Information 
Professional profile:
Following higher specialist training and acceptance to the GMC register, I was appointed as an NHS consultant plastic surgeon in 1990. The majority of my career was spent at Wexham Park Hospital in Slough, Berkshire, where I enjoyed a diverse clinical practice of reconstructive surgery, particularly breast reconstruction, hand surgery and general plastic surgery. After 17 years as an NHS consultant I left the NHS in March 2007 to pursue a full time private practice and bring a wealth of clinical experience to my present practice.

I continue to provide a reconstructive plastic surgery and hand surgery service, although my clinical activities are now focused on cosmetic or aesthetic plastic surgery. There are now a multitude of different procedures available and I offer an individual solution to patients from the range of treatments available including; face lifts (SMAS and MACS), brow lifts, eye lid surgery, rhinoplasty, platysmal surgery in the neck and fat transfer. Non surgical treatments include botulinum toxin, dermal fillers and resurfacing using Portrait technology. Breast augmentation with implants from the Allergan range, breast reduction, correction of breast asymmetry. Breast reconstruction particularly using DIEP flap from the abdomen. Body contouring surgery including abdominoplasty, liposuction and male breast reduction. There are many other treatments available that can be discussed on an individual basis.
Personal profile:
Mr Dickinson is married with three children. Outside medicine, his interests are sailing (cruising and solent racing), skiing, classical music and the theatre.
