About the breast enlargement procedure
Breast implants are used to alter the size and shape of your breasts. They come in a variety of types, shapes and sizes and usually consist of an outer layer of silicone filled with silicone gel. You'll be able to see different types of breast implant and discuss the advantages and disadvantages of each one with your surgeon before deciding which is best for you. The implants are inserted behind your natural breasts through a discrete incision in the crease under the breast, around your nipples or near your armpit.

You will also need to wear a special supportive bra in the first few weeks after surgery.
There will always be some scarring after breast enlargement, but the scars will often be hidden away from sight, along the crease of your breasts for example.
