Background Information 
Professional profile:
Following a long career in surgery and working in general, orthopaedic and plastic & reconstructive surgery I chose accident & emergency medicine as my final specialty.

I did my post graduate education and training in the Republic of Ireland, where in addition, I gained my Diploma in Sports Medicine from the RCS & RCP of Ireland and ran a successful private clinic for sports & sports related injuries.

I started my first substantive post as a consultant in Accident & Emergency Medicine in Southend where I have practiced for the past ten years. My clinical experience is my asset.

Although my current main interest is dealing with sports & sports related injuries, I still get a great deal of satisfaction from doing minor surgical procedures under local anaesthetic, including IGTN, excision of skin lesions and primary closure +/- application of SSG and fingertip amputation using composut graft.

I also have more than a decade of experience in medico-legal work.
