I am a Consultant Plastic and Hand Surgeon at the St Andrew's Centre for Plastic Surgery in Chelmsford, one of the largest hand trauma units in the UK. I completed my basic surgical training, followed by specialist plastic surgery training at the University Hospital of Zurich and a Fellowship at St Andrew's Centre for Plastic Surgery, Chelmsford. This included training in areas of plastic surgery such as burns surgery, reconstructive surgery after massive weight loss, cosmetic surgery and maxillofacial surgery.
My NHS work includes hand trauma, elective hand surgery and general plastic surgery, with special interests in osteoarthritis, paediatric hand surgery and secondary trauma surgery.
I underwent specialist hand surgery training during my fellowship at St Andrew's Centre for Plastic Surgery in Chelmsford and at Southend University Hospital. After completion of my plastic surgery training (FMH), I was appointed as a consultant plastic surgeon at Broomfield Hospital, Chelmsford.
I have published in international journals and have given lectures at a variety of national and international meetings. I am a Fellow of the European Board of Plastic Reconstructive and Aesthetic Surgery and hold the European Hand Surgery Diploma (EDHS). I am a member of both the British Association for Plastic Reconstructive and Aesthetic Surgery (BAPRAS) and the British Society for Surgery of the Hand (BSSH).
I welcome appropriate patients wishing to refer and pay for treatment themselves without the need for a GPs letter of referral.
