Medical dermatology is the mainstream of my practice due to my background in internal medicine acquired during my seven years as a senior lecturer in dermatology and internal medicine at the National University of Singapore. I have developed special interests and skills in paediatric dermatology, skin cancer, allergies/allergic skin disease and wound healing during sabbaticals in these areas and also in the course of developing local services at Southend Hospital during my 11 years there as clinical lead in dermatology.
I am a member of the European Academy of Allergy and Clinical Immunology. I have run a weekly mole and skin cancer screening clinics and also perform patch testing for commercial and regular cases of suspected contact dermatitis.
