    Professional profile:
    My practice philosophy is to treat my clients as fast and efficiently as possible and thereby assist them to come back to their usual self as soon as possible. When doing so I apply an evidence-based, pragmatic approach which in practice means that most clients will need different kinds of treatment (i.e. medication and cognitive behavior therapy) at the same time. I am able to refer every client in need thereof to a well qualified and well experienced therapist with whom I stay in close contact to monitor progress.
    I have worked more than 15 years at the University Hospital of Lund (Sweden) in various positions (including senior management). For the last 7 years I have been a substantive consultant within the South Essex partnership Foundation Trust.
    I treat all forms of adult mental illness, however have a special intrest in anxiety disorders, mood disorders, post-traumatic disorders, substance misuse, work related stress, transcultural psychiatry as well as psychosexual disorders. I provide medical reports in criminal and civil matters (more than 300 reports written) and serve as an expert witness. I am able to give consultations in English, Swedish (Danish, Norweigian) and German. I have a superficial knowledge of French and Croatian.
    Personal profile:
    I am married with children and living locally. I consider myself to be a Christian and I attend Church fairly regularly. I like reading (as well as writing myself), watching movies and I used to be a keen photographer. I take an interest in my local community as well as in local politics. My summers are usually spend in Croatia where I have had a property for many years (which I bought after having worked in post war Bosnia).
