We are proud to announce the opening of our dedicated 3 bed High Dependency Unit with comprehensive 24 hour Resident Medical Officer support, dedicated HDU nurse coordinator and trained nursing team.
The specialist unit now allows us to treat insured and self-funding patients with more complex surgical requirements or those with more extensive co-morbidities, as well as bariatric patients, whether it be a planned stay or an unplanned one.
With this heightened specialist support we expect to be treating more patients with complexities or co-morbidities across many specialities including general surgery, gynaecology and orthopaedics.
