Breast reconstructive surgery following breast cancer.

Mr Thomas Collin graduated from the Royal Free University Hospital, London in 1995. After obtaining his Membership in general surgery at the Royal College of Surgeons of England in 1999, he commenced his training in Plastic and Reconstructive Surgery. His training took place in the UK (Exeter, Norwich and Newcastle), New Zealand (Wellington) and Australia (Adelaide).
Mr Collin completed his training in 2010 after his specialist Fellowship in breast and general reconstructive surgery in Adelaide, Australia.
He took up a consultant post at the University Hospital of North Durham in April 2010. He is developing the breast reconstruction service for the durham region and is a core member of the Skin Cancer team.
Mr Collin is interested in all aspects of plastic and aesthetic surgery in addition to his work in breast reconstruction.
Mr Collin enjoys many outdoor pursuits including hill walking, running, trout fishing and golf.
