Pravin Menezes trained in Mumbai, Newcastle, Bristol, and London. He held a research appointment at the Bristol Urological Institute (BUI) conducting a Medical Research Council funded study in Urinary Stone Disease. As well as being widely acclaimed in the United States, the results of this study are published in Urological books.
Mr Menezes has presented and published his research in Stone Disease and Haematuria at national and international conferences.
He has developed skills in minimally invasive stone surgery and laparoscopic kidney surgery. He now teaches these skills to trainee urological surgeons in the UK and to consultant urologists at San Fernando Hospital, Trinidad and Walawalkers Hospital, India.
Mr Menezes continues to practise as a Consultant Urological Surgeon in the Department of Urology at Sunderland Royal Hospital.
