Professional profile:

Mr Andrews graduated from Cardiff medical school in 1992.  Since qualifying he trained in South Wales, Bristol and London before completing his orthopaedic training on the All Wales training programme in 2005. 

Mr Andrews has undertaken two spinal fellowships in Nottingham and Newcastle to gain a vast experience in all forms of spinal surgery.  He started work as a consultant in Birmingham in 2005 and moved to his current post in September 2008.  He performs all forms of spinal surgery and is particularly interested in deformity surgery and minimally invasive techniques.  Mr Andrews also treats sporting spinal injuries in elite professional athletes.

Personal profile:

Mr Andrews is married and enjoys spending his small amount of leisure time with his wife and Harley, their golden retriever.  Mr Andrews is also passionate about all sport particularly rugby and cricket.
