Mr Wynne-Jones was appointed as Consultant Spinal Neurosurgeon in 2008 at Newcastle General Hospital.  He graduated from St Thomas's Hospital Medical School in 1993 and has a BSc and PhD in Neurosciences from the University of London.  He trained in neurosurgery in the West Midlands and undertook an orthopaedic spinal fellowship at Frenchay Hospital, Bristol.

Mr Wynne-Jones performs a wide range of spinal procedures, from microdiscectomies to complex reconstructions for degenerative spinal conditions.
