Professional profile:
I have recently been appointed consultant orthopaedic surgeon at North Tyneside General Hospital following four successful years at the Queen Elizabeth Hospital in Gateshead.

I qualified from the University of Mysore in India. I trained both in India and the north-east of England for many years, gaining wide experience in trauma and orthopaedics.

I have an interest in dealing with problems of the lower limb. In addition to providing a general orthopaedic and trauma service, I have a special interest in hip resurfacing (Birmingham type), total hip/knee replacements, arthroscopic knee surgery and knee ligament reconstruction.
Personal profile:
In my free time I like to be with my family. I have a wife and two lovely children. I like computers and driving.
