With the usual efficiency at the Spire this was assessed on the Monday

and diagnosed today (Tuesday). I left the hospital a very happy man, realising what the implication of alternative diagnoses might have been. I am happy to say that the improvement continues in my condition, to the extent that I could now even be confident to drive, and I have recovered almost full use of my left hand!
