Mr Roger Smith is a consultant plastic and reconstructive surgeon with a long established practice in all fields. His specialist areas of interest cover breast and facial cosmetic surgery and cancer surgery. He has two sub specialty interests – breast surgery and oncological surgery of the head and neck. He works closely with breast surgeons and their teams in Kent to provide NHS and private breast reconstructive surgery.

Mr Smith performs a range of private facial rejuvenation techniques including face lifting, eyelid and nasal surgery, platysmaplasty (Neck Lift), browlift, dermal fillers, botox and skin lesions. His practise also covers abdominoplasty, brachioplasty, buttock lift, thigh lift, body contouring, tattoo removal, prominent ear surgery, liposuction as well as all aspects of aesthetic breast surgery.

Personal profile:

Mr Smith qualified in medicine in 1977 from Cambridge University with an MB BChir. Degree, obtaining an MA from the same university in Experimental and Social Psychology. Mr Smith undertook his clinical studies at St George’s Hospital Medical School in Tooting, achieving FRCS in 1982.

He started his plastic surgery training in February 1983 and attained a Masters Degree in surgery from Cambridge University in 1987. He held a Registrar appointment at Canniesburn Hospital, Glasgow (1986-1988) and a Senior Registrar post at Frenchay Hospital, Bristol (1988 until the time of his present appointment in 1990). Alongside his private practice, he is also based at the Regional Plastic Surgery and Burns Centre at The Queen Victoria Hospital.
