    Availability:
    Dr Haq will be available on Wednesday afternoons (2 to 6pm) on a weekly basis to see referrals in all aspects of diabetes and endocrinology.

    Professional profile:

    Dr Haq was appointed Consultant in Diabetes & Endocrinology at the Maidstone & Tunbridge Wells NHS Trust in April 2008.  Prior to taking up his full-time appointment, he worked at both St.George’s Hospital and Chelsea & Westminster NHS Foundation Trust as a Locum Consultant.

    Dr Haq qualified in 1995 from Guy’s and St.Thomas’s Hospital and completed his specialist training in the SW Thames region. During his training, he developed an interest in cardiovascular diabetes and obesity.  Dr Haq also has an interest in thyroid disease and completed an MD in 2007 at the Royal Marsden Hospital and Institute of Cancer Research.

    Masud takes pride in ensuring all of his patients are well informed of their diagnosis and management plan through active engagement.
     
    Masud is a keen sportsman and golfer and takes every opportunity to improve his handicap! He has a passion for cricket and skippers his local Sunday team. His club were Champions of the Surrey Downs League 3rd and 4th Division for the last two successive years
