I trained at Bristol University gaining merits in Obstetrics and Gynaecology, ENT, Ophthalmology, Dermatology, Anaesthetics and Pathology. I completed my general medical training in the South West and Wessex regions and my higher medical training in the Wessex and Severn deaneries. This included working with internationally recognised experts in pulmonary fibrosis and pleural disease, and where I developed my own research interest in non tuberculous mycobacteria.
Having grown up in the Tunbridge Wells area and being a TWGGs school graduate I am proud to now work as a full time NHS Consultant in Respiratory and General Medicine at the new Tunbridge Wells Hospital at Pembury.
I am married to another doctor and have two daughters. In what spare time they leave me I enjoy gardening and cooking (badly) and during the summer months have been known to endure wakeboarding with my husband.
