Dr Andrew Pool studied medicine at Westminster Medical School qualifying in 1986. He spent three years in research, in the department of Academic Rheumatology at St Georges Hospital Medical School, London.Dr Andrew Pool was trained in both rheumatology and acute internal medicines by the South Thames Regional Training Scheme. He was awarded a certificate of specialist accreditation in both rheumatology and internal medicine in 2000.Dr Andrew Pool was appointed as a consultant rheumatologist and physician in 2000, at the East Sussex Hospitals NHS Trust. He has a large NHS commitment to the north of East Sussex with up to 8 clinics per month in Uckfield and Crowborough.
