You’ll begin by attending an initial consultation, where your consultant will determine how to approach your procedure and explain their decision to you.

On the day, the team will escort you to your private room and guide your family and friends to a waiting area. Once everything’s ready, you’ll be supplied with a general anaesthetic and taken down to theatre. It should all be taken care of within a few hours, and the nurses will be ready to provide whatever aftercare you need for as long as you need it.
