Mr Samer Humadi undertook Higher Surgical training in General Surgery in South West England. After completing his general surgery training, he selected Upper Gastrointestinal and Bariatric Surgery as a sub-speciality of interest. He was trained in advanced laparoscopic and bariatric surgery at Musgrove Park Hospital in Taunton, Bristol Royal Infirmary, Frenchay Hospital in Bristol, Hamburg and Paris.
Samer Humadi has published and presented both nationally and internationally on various topics in bariatric surgery. Currently he works as a Consultant Upper Gastrointestinal and Bariatric Surgeon at Ashford & St Peter's Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust.
Mr Humadi offers his patients a full spectrum of bariatric procedures including insertion of gastric balloons, gastric banding, sleeve gastrectomy and gastric bypass. He also offers surgery for gallbladder diseases, abdominal wall hernias, anti-reflux surgery and upper gastrointestinal endoscopy.
Mr Humadi offers his services through both Spire Thames Valley Hospital and Surrey Obesity Service Limited.
