Professional profile:

Having graduated from the London Hospital in 1985, I was appointed as Consultant in Orthopaedic in Trauma to Heatherwood and Wexham Park Hospitals in 1998. My special areas of interest are in hip replacement, hip resurfacing, revision hip reconstructive surgery, knee arthroscopy, knee replacement and revision knee surgery.

I am a member of the British Orthopaedic Association and the British Hip Society and have presented research papers at the British Hip Society on a regular basis. I am also Assistant Editor for the Journal of Bone and Joint Surgery - British Volume.

Personal profile:

I am married with three teenage daughters. Home life is as busy as life at work!

I have completed half marathons and my other sporting hobbies include tennis and swimming, cycling and now triathlons.
