I have been working in the field of ENT for over 10 years now and am still as enthusiastic about the specialty as the day I started. I enjoy the variety of patients we see and making a real difference to their quality of life.
I trained in Cambridge ( undergraduate and postgraduate) and after house officer jobs I went to London where I completed my training. I very much enjoyed my placement at Great Ormond Street Hospital so after I finished my training in the UK I underwent a fellowship in paediatric ENT in a specialist children’s hospital in Edmonton, Canada. It was wonderful experience not only in ENT but in how another healthcare system works.
I am a consultant in ENT at the Lister Hospital in Stevenage and have a wide and varied practise. I treat patients with recurrent tonsillitis, children and adults with glue ear, benign head and neck lumps, nasal obstruction, snoring, sinusitis problems, snoring and sleep disordered breathing, ear infections, perforated eardrums, prominent ear, and cosmetic nose deformities after trauma.
