New state of the art CT scanner

May 2010

From the 1st June Spire Thames Valley Hospital will be able to offer patients CT Scans on site with the introduction of a new state of the art multislice CT Scanner.

The scanner can perform all routine scans with higher resolution and a lower radiation dose.  It can perform all complex procedures including real time 3D image guidance for interventional procedures.  Cardiac and vascular imaging is also possible with non invasive techniques, and perfusion imaging of entire organs.

CT Scanning is available Tuesdays between 08.30 – 18.30
