Mr William Dunnet completed his basic Medical training at St John's College, Cambridge and Guy's Hospital. His interest in surgery of the knee had developed during general training at the Royal National Orthopaedic Hospital, Stanmore and King's College Hospital, London.
After Mr William Dunnet completed his general orthopaedic training he passed one year in Australia studying at The Institute of Orthopaedics in Melbourne and The North Sydney Orthopaedics and Sports Medicine Centre. Both units specialised in reconstructive and replacement surgery of the knee.
Mr Dunnet completed his training in the hand unit at the Queen Victoria Hospital, East Grinstead. His orthopaedic practice is essentially a general one with special interests in the hip, knee and hand.
In common with a large proportion of orthopaedic surgeons Mr William Dunnet enjoys sports. Skiing is a passion that occupies at least two weeks of the year and in the summer mr Dunnet enjoys sailing and windsurfing when the demands of three daughters and a son all under the age of twelve allow.
Mr William Dunnet is a keen gardener and after a stressful day's work will frequently be found chasing the mower around the lawn - the rhythmical sound of a four-stroke engine amidst the perfume of cut grass is the best reliever of stress that he knows.
