Consultant Ear, Nose and Throat surgeon since 1993. GMC specialist registration number 2719566. Began medical studies at St Thomas's Hospital, London in 1975. Graduated Bachelor of Science (BSc) 1978. Medically qualified (MB, BS) 1981.Higher specialist training: Royal National Throat, Nose & Ear Hospital, Middlesex & University College Hospitals London. Fellow Royal College of Surgeons of England (FRCS, Otolaryngology) 1988. Senior registrar Royal Hallamshire and Children's Hospital's, Sheffield between 1990 - 1993. Awarded master of surgery degree (MS) University of London in 1996 for research on sinus surgery.

Clinical Practice:
An experienced consultant covering all areas of ENT diagnosis.

Surgical special interests in the following areas:
Otologic microsurgery: tympanoplasty, myringoplasty, mastoidectomy, labyrinthectomy, saccus, stapedectomy, BAHA (bone anchored hearing aid) implants.

Rhinology: FESS (Functional Endoscopic Sinus Surgery), ethmoidectomy, turbinectomy, septoplasty, nasal fractures, functional and cosmetic rhinoplasty.

LASER surgery.

Tonsillectomy, adenoidectomy, grommets.
