Mr Crispin R W Southgate was an undergraduate at the University of Wales, College of Medicine (Cardiff). His early surgical training was in Swansea and Cardiff, before undertaking higher surgical training on the South East Thames training circuit.
Mr Southgate developed an interest in surgery of the foot and ankle by undertaking a fellowship in the subject in Guy’s and St Thomas’ hospitals, gaining exposure and specialist training across the full range of adult foot and ankle pathology.
Mr Crispin R W Southgate has presented and published research on a range of subjects to national and international orthopaedic meetings and journals.
Mr Southgate is a keen angler, mainly fly fishing for trout, in local waters and further afield and has held a lifelong interest in natural history.
Mr Crispin R W Southgate is a fellow of the Linnean Society of London and follow his hobbies as actively as possible with a young and expanding family.
