I am a consultant of more than thirty five years experience who has kept up with progressing techniques and the reputation I have gained and guard preciously is that I give an honest opinion and a reliable one.

Macular degeneration is a most disturbing cause for loss of sight as one gets older. The disease process does run in my own family so I have a keen interest in this subject and this has enabled me to develop managements which are showing pleasing results and this includes good nutritional advice.

I consult privately seeing patients at two different times of the week for your convenience on a Tuesday evening and Wednesday morning each week.

Daily, I nourish my soul, nourish my mind and nurture my marriage. I live for the day but think to the future. My pursuit of balance includes such entertaining activities as driving huskies through the Arctic to enjoy the stillness and the quiet and just listen to the hissing of the runners on the snow. I also enjoy outdoor activities such as hiking and visiting challenging places. I make time for my health to try and avoid having to find time for disease.  As much as i can i aim to make my healthspan equal my lifespan.
