Dr David Nicholas Austin is a Consultant Physician and Gastroenterologist who trained at the University of Nottingham Medical School and qualified in 1990.
Dr Austin undertook higher medical training in general medicine and gastroenterology in London, with rotations to St Mary’s Hospital, Hammersmith Hospital, St Mark’s Hospital and the Chelsea & Westminster Hospital. During his training he also undertook research into small intestinal and colonic motility in irritable bowel syndrome.
Dr David Nicholas Austin was appointed as a Consultant in 2004 within the East Kent University NHS Foundation Trust and based at the William Harvey Hospital, Ashford.
