We are pleased to announce that Spire St Saviour's Hospital in Kent is able to provide Weight Loss surgery for Bariatric patients in the form of Laparoscopic Gastric banding.
Spire St Saviour's Hospital in Hythe and covering the Folkestone, Dover, Deal, Romney Marsh, Ashford, Tenterden and Charing areas now offers weight loss surgery. One of the consultants offering this service is Mr Sanjoy Basu Consultant General Surgeon.
Mr Basu is supported by a Spire St Saviour's multi disciplinary team which provides a full Bariatric weight loss service including Gastric Banding and follow up programme. The follow up programme includes band fills, consultations, dietician consultations and access to a Bariatric support group.
We will be offering a free consultation with one of our experienced nursing team followed by a short consultation with Mr Basu- Consultant General Surgeon. This is then followed by an assessment from a multi disciplinary team of consultants. After the assessment, if you are suitable for surgery, we will arrange for Laparoscopic gastric banding surgery with a full 12 month follow up programme.
