Infertility Investigations
About one in seven couples in the United Kingdom have difficulty conceiving and the chance of spontaneous conception is reduced when the woman is over 30. Couples are generally advised to seek medical advice if they have not conceived after 12 months. In cases where there is a known history of tubal damage, problems with ovulation, a sperm disorder or endometriosis, it may be appropriate to seek medical advice earlier.

Pre-operative assessment
Patients are assessed before surgery at Spire St Saviour's Hospital. Up to one hour is spent with our pre-operative assessment nurse to assess fitness for the operation and to help the patient understand the surgical procedure, the hospital and any other details and information. Pre-operative assessment helps ensure that patients are fully prepared for their surgery.
Imaging and diagnostics
Specialists at Spire St Saviour's Hospital utilise x-ray and imaging when required including ultrasound, magnetic resonance imaging (MRI) and computed tomography (CT). Our radiology team also offer other diagnostic services including urodynamics.
