Mr Woodcock is a military consultant ophthalmic surgeon and was appointed as military consultant ophthalmic surgeon to Worcestershire Acute NHS Trust in 2007. He trained in two of the countries busiest vitreo-retinal units at Birmingham Eye Hospital and Moorfileds Eye Hospital in London. He is also an experienced cataract surgeon with a special interest in complex high-risk cataract cases, ocular trauma and aviation medicine. He has lectured widely and has numerous publications on these subjects.

Mr Woodcock’s special interests include, cataract surgery, macular hole surgery, retinal detachments, dibaetic retinopathy and age related macular degeneration and retinal vascular problems.
