Mrs Cicely Freeman is Head Orthoptist at Evesham Community Hospital and Senior Orthoptist at Worcestershire Acute NHS Trust. She trained at Moorfields Eye Hospital London, both for her Diploma and for the two year teacher of orthoptics qualification. She has a wide range of orthoptic experience and has worked at Birmingham, Coventry and Cheltenham. She enjoys working with children and has skills for testing children’s vsion from birth onwards. She hasa special interest in vision and stroke (CVA) and has lectures extensively at home and abroad on this subject. She practices in all aspects of orthoptics including; squints (strabismus), double vision (diplopia), eye movement disorders (ocular motility), and all aspects of binocular single vision (BSV).
