• Clinical governance and transparency forms an integral part of establishing standards at Spire Eye Centres.

  In addition to the high standards of hospital governance, we audit the following areas against national benchmarks, on an ongoing prospective basis:

  • Post-operative infection rate
  • Patient reported outcomes VF-14 survey
  • Refractive outcomes with factoring

  Regular audit meetings are held to discuss the above areas. Through audit, education and research, Spire Eye Centres ensure techniques are up to date and treatments are state of the art and safe.

  We provide a regular programme of education events for GPs and optometrists in ophthalmic surgery and procedures.
