CancerPartnersUK is an independent organisation set up by a group of cancer experts who are committed to improving the overall quality and availability of cancer services across the UK, particularly in radiotherapy. We work with hospitals and healthcare providers to set up improved cancer care facilities, through a combination of new technologies, highly qualified medical teams and expert knowledge of cancer care pathways.
The CancerPartnersUK radiotherapy facility has been built with the patient in mind, to ensure ease-of-access in comfortable, relaxing surroundings and flexible appointment times. This is because radiotherapy can entail a daily course of treatments for anything up to six weeks, depending on your consultant’s recommendations.
The expert radiotherapists and clinicians are all highly experienced in cancer care having previously worked in leading NHS and private hospitals. The facility is managed by a senior radiotherapist, supported by a team of physicists and clinical support staff. They provide a team-led approach to guide you through your treatment programme, answering questions and providing expert medical advice and consultation about all aspects of your cancer therapy.
They also have the guidance of leading cancer specialists who are closely involved with CancerPartnersUK and, of course, the teams of oncologists and surgeons from Spire Portsmouth Hospital. Throughout your treatment the teams work closely together to ensure that your care is delivered seamlessly and that you feel confident and reassured that your care and peace of mind is the absolute priority.
