Mr Clerk qualified in 1989. He holds a BSc and is a member of the Royal College of Obstetrics and Gynaecology. He is also a lecturer with the University of Wales Medical School. He is a member of the British Menopause Society, International Menopause Society and the British Society of Gynaecology Endoscopy.
Mr Clerk is married and resides in North Wales. His wife is a nurse and they have two children with an interest in Formula 1 Motor Sports and Chess.
