Dr White developed his interest in Stroke, headache cerebrovascular physiology as a research fellow at the Royal Postgraduate Medical School, Hammersmith. He completed his clinical training at the National Hospital, Queen Square, before taking his current Consultant post at the Walton Center, Liverpool. His clinical interests include Young Stroke, Rare stroke syndromes and Aorte Stroke treatment. He is the principal investigator for several on going multi center stroke trails and is a steering committee member of the North West Stroke Research Network.
Dr White is a father of three single minded children, who ensure he is on the Sunday league football touchline when he is not fly fishing or Game shooting.
