Mrs Andrea Burgess graduated from Nottingham University Medical School in 1993. She completed her specialist registrar training in the Oxford deanery during which time she underwent two international fellowships; an otology fellowship at the University of Michigan, USA; and a joint Paediatric and Head and Neck fellowship at the Royal Brisbane and Royal Children¿s Hospital, Queensland Australia. She then worked as a locum Consultant ENT surgeon at the John Radcliffe Hospital for 18 months before taking up her current NHS post in December 2007 at the Royal Hampshire County Hospital and Southampton University Hospital.

Her specialist interests are paediatric ENT and benign head and neck disease although she also enjoys general ENT practice.
Personal profile:
Mrs Andrea Burgess is married and has twin girls aged 3. She and her family have recently moved to Winchester and are looking forward to settling down to family life within the local community. Her interests include tennis, snowboarding and spending time with her family and friends .
